The 2010 Cadillac SRX is powered by a choice of two six cylinder power plants, which were both new to the luxury arm of GM at that time. The SRX's new CUE system pairs entertainment and information data from up to 10 Bluetooth-enabled mobile devices, USBs, SD cards and MP3 players with a vehicle infotainment system that reduces complexity through customized information, voice commands and fewer buttons and larger icons.

The navigation system comes with three-dimensional imaging and is backed by other technological accessories such as adaptive forward lighting that swivels the headlamps in synch with vehicle steering, a power liftgate with adjustable height setting, an integrated hard disc drive for audio storage, and a dual-screen system for rear entertainment. There is also navigation system that rises from the center of the instrument panel. Inside the SRX, the customer will be greeted with an integrated center stack that houses controls for climate and audio systems. The SUV has also received three new exterior colors: Evolution Green Metallic, Glacier Blue Metallic and Silver Coast Metallic plus a new range of 20-inch wheel designs, including new chrome and polished aluminum wheels for the Performance and Premium Collections. The 2013 Cadillac SRX has received a new design for the front upper and lower grilles, new front fender vents that incorporate LED light pipes.
